Main Goal
The Metaverse is a big detailed world that has gained more popularity recently. Because technology and life situations are making us consider digital options every day even as our new optional currency, is important for everyone to be prepare and get informed of how the new interfaces work, including kids. In this specific scenario, sometimes it can be frustrating trying to use the location tracker to go to a specific place, especially for the new users. The goal with this project was to present a new and more easy to understand design for the Metaverse location tracker for everyone, kids included.
Learnings
As UI/UX and Graphic Designer, I contributed:
- Researching and evaluating the inconveniences the users face when trying to read the location tracker and determine how they can be improved to simplify everything for kids.
- Propose a redesigned interface easy to read and make it all an overall enjoyable experience that even kids could learn from it.
- Create new 2D and 3Delements that will bring and enjoyable experience overall.
Outcome
The new Metaverse location tracker offers a new experience to the user, by simplifying the elements of the map and making them more attractive and easy to identify specific locations coded by colors and shapes. It also offers a new alternative for the user that wants to experience the tracker full screen, they would be able to amplify it or resize it whenever they want. As a new added feature, we are giving the user the opportunity to view the map on 2D or 3D, which will make it more understandable and fun to look at, even for kids!
