Because every semester, students develop brand-new projects that are given less exposure than expected, it became necessary to develop a platform that will allow them to display their projects. Statistics showed that students and alums are not involved in their work from their academic years, and there are some solid potential projects left on the shelf. Additionally, companies and businesses want students to work on their projects but need help to establish a connection with them. The benefits of working with a student-based team would be how cost-efficient it is and how students can develop more vital communication skills in the industry.
As a UI/UX Designer, I contributed:
We developed Tie-in, platform to connect students and businesses to engage with each other. A web application for the industry to support projects or for a student to work on business ideas. In this case, businesses can work on many projects with different requirements, budgets, or unique skill sets. Students will also have the chance to earn first-class work environment experience. The industry can communicate its project requirements and choose a student team to work on its ideas, and students can share their projects and be open to selling them or receiving support.
